Ninety-five percent of your behaviour is generated beneath conscious awareness. - Realise this - 95% not your intentions, not your desires, not the version of yourself you are consciously trying to become...
Most people believe they are operating primarily from conscious choice. In reality, the mind functions through multiple layers - each one influencing behaviour, perception, emotional reactions, and reality creation differently.
The conscious mind is the analytical layer. THE SMALLEST PART OF YOUR MIND! The part of you reading these words right now. It processes logic, short-term decision making, critical thinking, and immediate awareness. But it is limited. Most neuroscientific models estimate the conscious mind processes only a tiny fraction of the information your nervous system is receiving every second.
Beneath it sits the subconscious mind - the storage system of identity, emotional memory, learned behaviour, habits, attachment patterns, beliefs, and automatic responses. This is where your self-image lives. And can sometimes hold your relationship blueprint, money patterns and survival responses. The subconscious is not rational or objective. It operates through association, repetition, symbolism, imagery, emotional intensity, and pattern recognition. Its primary role is efficiency and survival. What every single identity shifting, reality creation or manifestation teacher tells you is that this is where that ends - this is not true, especially if you are someone who has had adverse childhood or adult experiences - trauma and difficult memories live deeper than the subconscious...
Beneath both sits the unconscious mind - the deepest layer. The realm containing instinctual drives, inherited conditioning, trauma imprints, archetypal symbolism, suppressed memory, and what many spiritual traditions would describe as the bridge between the personal psyche and the collective or spiritual field. In Jungian psychology, this includes the collective unconscious. In shamanic traditions, this layer was often accessed through trance states, dreamwork, ritual, plant medicine, drumming, fasting, and symbolic journeys into the underworld of the psyche. The information stored in your unconscious is directly affecting your perception, your emotions, all the way down to the tiniest detail of your current reality - something every single methodolgy has missed. I only discovered this by working with master healers and shamans - and you are about to discover this for yourself too...
This is why transformation work cannot happen through conscious thought alone or even subconscious work like affirmations, hypnosis etc - none of these modern processes tap into the deepest part of your psyche in the unconscious. And you cannot override subconscious and unconscious programming using logic if the deeper layers still perceive the old identity as safer.
The unconscious - the part of the mind that formed its structure before you were old enough to question what it was building - is running the vast majority of your daily experience. Your emotional reactions. Your relationship patterns. The way you respond to threat. The loop you keep running in with your creative work, your health, your finances, your love life... THIS IS THE KEY - trust me, from navigating hundreds of wellness and manifestation techniques, I've pretty much done it all and it wasn't until my shamanic teacher broke these layers of the mind down for me that I really was able to finally have real results shift in my life.
The unconscious is not a character flaw, but it is a structural fact, and it is the precise reason that most personal development approaches, however intelligent and well-intentioned, do not produce lasting change.
They operate primarily at the level of the conscious mind.
Your code runs beneath it.
WHAT NLP REALLY IS.
Neuro-Linguistic Programming is the study and systematic application of how the mind codes experience - and how those codes can be rewritten with precision.
Developed in the 1970s by Richard Bandler and John Grinder through analysing the patterns used by some of the most effective therapists and change-makers of their era, NLP is not a belief system. It is a technological system of the mind. A set of techniques for working with the internal representations, language patterns, and neurological sequences through which the brain constructs and maintains reality.
The neuro component addresses how the nervous system processes information through the senses and encodes that information as internal experience. The linguistic component addresses how language, both spoken and internal, shapes and reinforces belief structures. The programming component addresses how those structures become habits, identities, emotional reactions, and automatic behavioural patterns - and how to interrupt and recode them.
What makes NLP different is not that it changes behaviour directly. It changes the internal map generating the behaviour. And when the map changes, the reality restructures itself.
What most people do not realise is that this process is far older than modern psychology.
Long before NLP existed as a formal system, visualisation, symbolic rehearsal, trance work, and identity shifting were already being used inside shamanic and spiritual traditions throughout history. Ancient Egyptian priests practised visualisation rituals to align consciousness with desired realities. Tibetan monks used deity visualisation and meditative identity embodiment to alter consciousness and emotional states. Indigenous shamans across South America and Siberia used guided imagery, dream journeys, and symbolic inner worlds to access healing, guidance, and transformation. Even Hermetic and ceremonial magick traditions were fundamentally based on mental imagery, emotional embodiment, and repeated subconscious programming.
These traditions understood something modern neuroscience is now validating: the subconscious and unconscious mind communicate primarily through imagery, symbolism, repetition, sensation, ritual, and emotional association - not logic alone.
Modern neuroscience simply gave scientific language to what ancient traditions already understood intuitively: the brain responds to imagined experience in remarkably similar ways to physical experience.
It has now been extensively studied that the brain struggles to distinguish between vividly imagined imagery and sensory reality. The same neural pathways activated during physical action can activate during visualisation alone. Which means the subconscious mind is constantly being programmed by the images, emotions, symbols, and identities you repeatedly expose it to.
This is why visualisation is one of the most powerful tools we possess for reality creation and behavioural change.
Not because it is fantasy. Because the nervous system experiences repeated internal imagery as instruction.
WHY THE WELLNESS INDUSTRY GETS THIS WRONG.
Most wellness approaches treat symptoms at the level of the symptom.
Anxiety? Here is a breathing technique. Negative self-talk? Here is an affirmation. Limiting belief? Here is a journal prompt explaining why it is not true...
None of these are without value. But very few reach the subconscious level where the pattern was originally encoded. The belief was not formed through rational argument. It will not dissolve through rational argument either.
The body and the unconscious knows this. Which is why the same patterns keep returning. NLP works differently because it addresses the internal representation itself - the specific image, sensation, memory, sound, or emotional sequence through which the belief maintains its emotional charge.
When that representation is accessed and recoded, the emotional response changes. The behaviour loses its automatic grip. The nervous system stops running the same survival sequence on repeat.
This does not not always take years of work. In focused application, profound shifts can happen quickly.
I HAD NO IDEA HOW MUCH NLP WAS WORKING UNTIL THIS HAPPENED...
I give almost ninety percent of my transformation journey to NLP because it became the bridge between science and magick for me.
Before this practice, I was deeply sceptical. I genuinely believed magick was probably just placebo. NLP felt safer to my analytical mind because it was backed by neuroscience, behavioural psychology, and measurable nervous system responses. It allowed me to practise manifestation and reality creation without immediately triggering my own limiting beliefs around spirituality.
But over time, I realised something important.
Neuroscience and magick are often describing the same mechanisms through completely different language.
The brain cannot fully distinguish between what you repeatedly visualise and what you physically experience. Ancient spiritual systems understood this long before brain scans existed. Modern NLP simply translated ancient subconscious technologies into scientific terminology the modern mind could accept.
When I first started practising NLP, I committed to it intensely for over two years.
Every morning, during the hypnopompic theta state - just before waking, I would visualise my dream reality in detail. I would mentally rehearse the environments, emotions, conversations, and identity I wanted to step into. I anchored those emotional states into my body repeatedly until they began feeling familiar.
What I did not understand at the time was why so much emotional resistance kept surfacing afterwards. The unresolved fears, the limiting beliefs, the trauma responses, the grief & doubt.
I thought I was failing.
And this is where so many manifestation teachers mislead people. They teach visualisation without teaching nervous system regulation. They teach expansion without teaching how to deal with grief. And they teach manifestation without teaching what must psychologically dissolve when you choose a completely different reality.
Because you cannot create a new identity without letting go of an old one.
There is always an exchange. Magicians know this.
We exist inside a dualistic reality. Expansion often requires death of the familiar. A new timeline demands the collapse of old emotional structures, old relationships, old survival identities, and old attachments.
This became one of the most important teachings I knew I had to include for the Creatrixes inside Laws of the Creatrix. Not just how to visualise. But how to navigate the chaos that emerges between realities. Because the transition period is where most people quit. [Join here to learn how to do this yourself in The Laws of The Creatrix priorty list]
And what is wild is that when my life became most chaotic, I actually stopped consciously practising NLP altogether.
At the time, I had already been evicted five times in three years because of terrible landlords. My life felt unstable, unpredictable, and constantly in collapse. But deep down, I knew something else was happening beneath the surface. The visualisation work and subconscious reprogramming were pulling me toward an entirely different life structure.

Eventually, after enough chaos, I bought a one-way ticket to Asia and left London where I was born and raised. And suddenly, the reality I had been visualising for years started materialising around me without my conscious effort...
Then, after returning home to spread the ashes of my deceased father, I began consciously practising NLP again. During one of those visualisation sessions, I tuned deeply into the reality I had once imagined for myself.
I saw warmth. Ocean air. Peace. Freedom. Distance from old emotional cycles. My father was absent from the vision, and there was no contact.
And then I realised something that stopped me completely. The reality had already manifested. Just not in the exact form my conscious mind expected.
Of course, I never imagined my father would pass as part of that future reality. But the repeated emotional wounds had ended. The chaos had redirected me. The old timeline had dissolved. And somehow, through all of it, life had aligned me with the path of least resistance toward the reality my nervous system had been rehearsing for years.
That experience changed the way I understood manifestation forever.
NLP became more than mindset work to me after that. It became proof that the subconscious mind, the nervous system, emotional embodiment, and reality creation are deeply interconnected.
The real work is learning how to consciously operate those layers of the mind.
How to visualise clearly. How to regulate the nervous system while old realities collapse.
How to structure your life so the subconscious receives consistent signals of the reality you are moving toward.
How to process the grief, fear, resistance, and uncertainty that naturally emerge during transformation.
And most importantly - how to handle the chaos in between.
NLP & THE CREATRIX LAWS
Inside Laws of The Creatrix NLP forms one of the primary tools: The Unconscious Laws - the stage concerned with identifying and dismantling the emotional structure built through childhood conditioning, trauma, survival responses, and repeated emotional experiences.
The gut archetype framework maps the emotional and somatic patterns associated with each TCM type. NLP is then applied to the precise subconscious structures maintaining those patterns.
This combination is intentional.
The gut-brain connection means the somatic patterns stored in the body and the psychological patterns stored in the unconscious continuously reinforce each other. Working with both simultaneously - the body through the archetype protocol, and the mind through NLP and visualisation - reaches the root of the pattern rather than merely managing its symptoms.
This is the layer most wellness systems miss. And it is the layer determining whether transformation holds or collapses under stress, that's why after nearly a decade of trial and error - I had to create the ultimate system for The Creatrix girls who find themselevs stuck in an endless subconscious reprogramming healing loop like I was... [Find out your Gut Archetype to determine your emotional pattern here.]
WHAT MAKES NLP POSSIBLE.
A belief like "I am not enough" did not form as a sentence. It formed as experience, a moment or repeated moments, creating an emotional pattern. A series of events the nervous system encoded as truth.
NLP helps curate your new reality, the imagery, sensory coding, emotional sequencing, internal dialogue, and nervous system associations. A new internal reality becomes installed through repetition, visualisation, somatic anchoring, emotional rehearsal, and subconscious reinforcement until it becomes the new default pattern.
Once your perform Candali meditation - something taught in Laws of The Creatrix - then those structures that were limiting your reality, stuck in the unconscious are finally changed.
What was once bright, large, emotionally charged, and immediate becomes distant, dim, quiet, and neutral. What once triggered fear stops carrying the same neurological weight because the representation itself has shifted.
This is not wishful thinking, you are actually reprogramming the largest part of your mind.
And when combined with nervous system work, somatic healing, energetic regulation, and identity embodiment, it becomes one of the most powerful transformation tools available.
