Before you buy

Questions, answered

When should I drink it?

Most people reach for it in the evening, ideally 30-60 minutes before bed - it's the signal that the day is finished.

But it isn't only a bedtime tea. It's just as welcome in the middle of a stressful afternoon, when you need five minutes and a reason to sit down. It's caffeine-free, so a daytime cup costs you nothing later.

What makes it an evening blend?

The plants in it. Chamomile, lavender, lemon balm, passionflower and valerian root are the herbs people across Europe have reached for at the end of the day for centuries - the classic evening cupboard, essentially, blended in the proportions we like best.

And there's the steep itself: five to seven minutes where there's genuinely nothing to do but wait. That pause does a fair amount of the work.

What colour does it brew?

A soft pale gold with a green cast - quiet and clear, exactly as an evening cup should look.

Every colour in the cup comes from the plants themselves. No colourings, no fillers, no preservatives, nothing synthetic - just what the flowers, roots and berries give up in hot water.

Nothing in the pouch but leaves and flowers. Nature's magick, undiluted.

I've heard valerian smells strong - does this?

On its own, valerian is assertive - earthy and famously pungent. Here it sits underneath spearmint, lemon balm, chamomile and lavender, so the cup opens soft and minty-floral and only finishes earthy. Getting that balance right is the whole job.

Do I have to do the guided ritual?

Complimentary, and completely optional - the tea works perfectly well as just a cup of tea.

Sleep & Reset's is the calming one: a slow, settling meditation for a mind that won't switch off, which is why it suits a tense afternoon as much as a late evening. Scan the QR code on the pack.

How long will a pack actually last?

The 50g loose leaf pouch makes up to 60 cups; the 14 biodegradable teabags make up to 40. One pack is one to two months of evenings - a hand-blended cup for well under 50p.

Is it suitable during pregnancy, breastfeeding, or alongside anything I already take?

Herbal traditions have always treated pregnancy as its own season, with certain botanicals set aside for it - so it's worth a quick word with your midwife, GP or a qualified herbalist before adding any new blend to your day. The same goes if you already have a routine you're working around.

To make that conversation easy, we print the complete ingredient list on every pouch and every product page. Nothing hidden, nothing vague, no "proprietary blend" - so whoever you ask has the full picture in front of them.
